Chicago Theological Seminary invites applications from early-career scholars for a full-time, tenure track position to begin July 1, 2020. We are especially interested in Hispanic/Latino/a/x approaches to Religion and Society that consider culture, traditions, and ritual practices along with the ability to teach in Spanish. Area of specialization is open. The PhD and demonstrated competency in online teaching and learning are required. Knowledge and commitment to interreligious engagement are desirable. Applicants should share the seminary’s historic commitments to social justice and the care of creation, and be able to teach in all of our degree programs (MA, MDiv, STM, DMin, and PhD) with several concentrations. The successful candidate will have a scholarly trajectory and be committed to developing a professional profile that includes publication.
