Job Description
To create, maintain and develop quality creative ministries that promote youth interactions, relations, development and spiritual growth. Develop youth programming for cultural, educational, life skills and career/life planning. Develop, coordinate and administer dynamic ministry experiences for junior high and high school youth. Recruit, lead and coordinate youth ministry volunteers, mentors and youth leaders. Develop effective support and outreach to college students. Provide leadership for young adult ministries for human development and volunteer/mentoring resource for youth ministries.
Qualifications/Experience/Skills
Strong discipleship/mentoring skills and passion to carry out the mission and vision of NFBCI. Must demonstrate excellence in communicating Biblical truths to promote life change. Ability to lead and inspire, train and work productively with volunteers. Effective administrative and creative programming skills. Experience teaching large bible classes preferred. Needs to be flexible with youth ministry models and open to change. Knowledgeable and able to utilize various social media platforms. Must have an outreach focus, able to maintain public relations, communication and collaboration with local schools, recreation centers etc.
